This was my first film. Edited manually (cutting and taping) on a Steenbeck. No one ever cared to ask why I named it FiveFiftyFive, so let me tell you anyway. Working in 16mm film all the way through editing and printing, can very easily cost you $5.55 per minute. That’s $1600 for five minutes, which is a lot for a student. Thankfully this film cost a little less than that.
