The Vancouver bicycle arts celebration, SPOKED! is only a few weeks away!

This week Stephen and I went to North Carolina to learn how to build bikes properly, from frame builder extraordinaire Steve Garn. Expect to see some beautiful lugged frames over the summertime.

A crazy week of bike-building after work led to this creation. A stationary, electric, LED strobing, classic ride. Fun for eatArt’s series of Olympic-time parties. When the room isn’t full of people the rider becomes animated with a video projection by Ben Graeme.

My brothers and I had a blast cruzin’ and sredding the streets of Montreal last weekend. We went with Benny for the Bicycle Film Festival, and to shoot some photos of the bros and tall bike action. Here Mad Hank stays focused above the commotion below. (Shot with a Mamiya RZ67)

This is my contribution to last year’s Bicycle Film Festival; a short film constructed mostly of still photos, with a short video about a dorky dad, some worn-out 16mm, and Vancouver’s Critical Mass.
